Work in progress
3Di Viewer “Rei” has some features that are not yet completely implemented. These will be addressed in future versions.
- Multi-region support is not completely implemented.
- Content creation is done externally to the viewer
- 3Di Viewer “Rei” is for viewing virtual worlds. Building content needs a separate tool, like Hippo viewer.
- However, because 3Di Viewer “Rei” is controllable by JavaScript, you can make simple a browser-based GUI to do basic editing tasks, if you so desire.
- You can also use server-side scripting (LSL, MRM, etc.) for dynamic content creation.
- 3Di Viewer “Rei” is designed for use with mesh-based avatars and supports only one fixed mesh avatar. SL-style parameterized avatars are not supported at this time.
- No GUI for inventory support. The server-side inventory exists; it just needs a GUI to access it.
